I love Tom Whipple. The retired CIA analyst whose columns appear in the Falls Church News-Press has a no-nonsense style of delivery that you can only find in a hardened former government intelligence employee. He lays out the converging challenges we face in a contracting society in his most recent editorial, and I think helps set the tone for the coming year.
The world isn't going to end. But we are on collusion course with destiny.
